Mark is Chairman and Chief Investment Officer of Slater Investments, a specialist UK equity fund manager he co-founded in 1994.

The company manages money for institutional, high net worth and retail investors. Mark and the funds managed by Slater Investments have won many industry awards. Mark has served on the boards of four public companies and a number of private companies. He served as a trustee of the Goldsmith family trusts from 1997 to 2025 as well as being a director of the holding company and a member of its investment committee. Since 2012, Mark has chaired the Investment Advisory Committee of Weybourne Ltd, the family office of the Dyson family. Mark served as a director of the Dyson family’s holding company and, since 2019, has chaired Weybourne Ltd.

Mark is a trustee of the Drinking Fountain Association, a charity focused on providing clean drinking water in schools in the UK and in villages in Africa and India. He is also a governor of St. Philip’s School in South Kensington, London and serves on the Campaign Board of the King’s Trust, a charity formed by King Charles in the 1970s that helps young people find employment or start new businesses.
