Ms. Weldon is the Head of Capital Formation and Investor Solutions at Castleton Commodities International (CCI). Previously, she was a Managing Director and Global Head of BlackRock Alternative Investors Sustainable Investing. In that role, Ms. Weldon was a member of the Office of the CIO and was responsible for implementing BlackRock's sustainable investing strategy across various sectors, including Real Estate, Infrastructure, Hedge Funds, Private Equity, and Credit.
Priorto her time at BlackRock, Ms. Weldon was part of the Executive Group at Louis Dreyfus Company, where she led Food Innovation & Downstream Strategy and established LDC Ventures. She joined the Louis Dreyfus Company after 13 years at Blackstone, where she held several positions of increasing responsibility, including Head of Commodity Strategy and lastly as Senior Managing Director and Co-Head of the London office for Blackstone Alternative Asset Management. Prior to Blackstone, she worked at JPMorgan in London and New York.
Ms.Weldon holds a Sloan Fellowship Master’s degree in Leadership and Strategy from London Business School, a degree in Finance and International Business from Georgetown University, and UK and US securities regulatory qualifications. She also served as a Founding Board Member of 100 Women in Finance Ltd. from 2007 to 2017 and is currently a member of the Advisory Board at Georgetown University’s Business of Sustainability Initiative.
