David A. Novak serves as Co-President of private equity firm CD&R and is based in London. He joined the firm in 1997 and is a member of the Investment, Executive and Operating Review committees. Previously, he worked in the private equity and investment banking divisions of Morgan Stanley. David is a member of the Amherst College Board of Trustees, the Cambridge University Endowment Fund Investment Advisory Board and Director of Windmill Hill Asset Management and Chair of its Investment Committee. He is also on the Board of the Valerie Fund, which supports children with cancer and blood disorders; an Advisor to Ahren Innovation Capital and was formerly the Chair of the Board of the American School in London. David has an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School and a B.A. from Amherst College.
